You’re correct and if we take any look at the world we live in now we can clearly see that corporations control and dominate the global world. They plunder the environment for resources they pollute the air, all in the name of profit. Profit is what is destroying society, the essence of Capitalism. Its among many things including completely illogical and self destructive. Capitalism is its own grave digger.

Both the Soviet style “Communism” which is horrible bureaucratic Stalinist State Capitalist regime is a horrific failure.

Democratic Socialism and Social Democracy are failures because they irrationally think that socialism can be reformed.

Fascism is still a right wing ideology in which the capitalist class works directly with the government to protect capital from crisis.

I am a Marxist, because I believe in a stateless classless society, that can only be achieved through a revolution in which the entire working class takes power through the dictatorship of the proletariat which withers away with the state during the revolution, goes to lower phase communism and than higher phase communism.

It more so explains why what you think is socialism or communism is not at all communism but state capitalism as I continuously say.

Of Course Communism hasn’t existed yet, if it did we wouldn’t be discussing this. However the inevitable collapse of capitalism is coming whether you like to admit it or not.
